The Jet3up PI also known as pigment printer was developed to mark dark surfaces in high contrast. Examples include black cables, pipes, wires, automotive parts or brown beer bottles that have to be marked in white for clearer legibility. To do this you need pigmented inks also known as contrast or opaque inks, hence the development of the Jet3up PI concept which has a unique hydraulic system. An integrated ink agitator and a fully automated interval mode for production shutdowns means that the ink regularly circulates through the entire inkjet printer thereby preventing the pigments from permanently setting.

The JET3up PI is an ideal solution for marking and coding applications in which a strong contrast is to be created between the imprint and a product with a darker substrate. The pigments that are contained in white and other light coloured inks as well as dark inks with high opacity, make the inks particularly UV-resistant.
Printer is always ready to use, opaque inks pose no limits
The combination of the hydraulic system, Sealtonic technology and stirring device in the Jet3up PI ensures that the pigmented inks do not settle, thereby making the printer readily available and reliable. The agitator is automatically timed to stir the opaque inks regularly during production breaks, even when the machine is switched off. By this, ink is always kept homogeneous. The “Sealtronic” nozzle seal concept ensures that the nozzle is sealed airtight and this allows ink to be circulated through the entire system.
Low maintenance cost
JET3up PI pigmented inkjet printers neither require costly external compressed air to generate the ink pressure, nor do they need maintenance-intensive gear-wheel pumps. This eliminates the possibility of contaminating the pigmented ink using compressed air (water, oil, rust) and avoids unwanted heating of the ink by gear-wheel pumps.
